Tommy Frasene

Tommy Frasene served as a utility man fellow whose duties stretched from writing client stories to evaluating donor management software. During his freshmen year at the University of Washington, he saw Nobel laureate and microfinance pioneer Muhammad Yunus speak on campus, and he went on to help form the school's Campus Kiva club. After this initial immersion in the Seattle microfinance community, he heard from a fellow Campus Kiva member about Lumana and its opportunities for student involvement. He took off from there. Tommy holds a bachelor's degree in international studies and economics, and he looks forward to investigating innovative methods of combatting poverty around the world.
